Obesity, Health, and Nutrition: The role your organisation can play

Oct 27, 2022 | Latest news & media

The causes and effects of obesity are systemic and varied. Obesity is a societal challenge. It requires people and organisations from across all sectors to work together to reduce the impact of obesity in Australia. This includes government, employers, academia, investors, the food industry, and the healthcare and social sectors.

The complexity of obesity requires innovative solutions. Many organisations already have environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices and reporting in place. With the right interventions, embedding action on obesity into ESG practices and reporting can deliver mutually reinforcing co-benefits on broader societal challenges.

So how can your organisation play their part?

Our latest report in collaboration with PwC Australia explores the social change and collective action required to address obesity and how your organisation can help transform the way Australia thinks, acts and speaks about obesity.
