Most people living with obesity are sufficiently motivated to improve their health.

People living with obesity should take greater responsibility for their weight.

Most people living with obesity have made a good effort to improve their health with diet and exercise.

Lifestyle modification would enable most people living with obesity to achieve recommended weight loss targets.

People living with obesity should be better able to control their body weight on their own.

I often find supporting patients living with obesity to be frustrating because of health system barriers (e.g. lack of time, resources, and funding).

I often find supporting patients living with obesity to be frustrating because of their lack of motivation or discipline.
